As you can see if you are sticking to the on-board raid configuration to save a dollar, stick with the Intel raid controllers! We can DEFINITELY feel the difference in performance without a single doubt.
This test was done with 2 120GB OCZ MaxIOPS SSD drives in a RAID0 configuration.
